Email requests may be answered outside phone hours, but response times can vary during weekends, holidays, and periods of high demand.
How can I contact PersonalHour customer support?
For general assistance, product questions, or order support, contact our customer service team.

For missing parts, damage, or equipment issues, email issue@personalhour.com and include your order number, delivery date, and clear photos or videos when applicable.
Why is the Janet Reformer named Janet?
The Janet Reformer was named in honor of the founder’s mother, Janet, whose encouragement and support helped inspire the company.

Janet was PersonalHour’s first reformer model and was introduced as the first foldable wooden Pilates reformer of its kind in the United States. It was designed to bring the beauty and performance of a wooden reformer into homes where space may be limited.
Does PersonalHour own patents?
PersonalHour has multiple pending patent applications related to selected equipment designs, cushion technology, reformer features, and accessories.

A pending patent application is not the same as an issued patent. Patent protection and approval depend on review by the appropriate patent authorities.
Is PersonalHour only an equipment company?
No. PersonalHour is designed as a complete Pilates experience. Our goal is to support customers before and after their reformer arrives through equipment, app access, guided videos, educational resources, accessories, community support, and customer service.
Is the PersonalHour app included with reformer purchases?
Yes. PersonalHour reformer customers receive access to the PersonalHour app, including Pilates videos, guided training, and resources designed to help customers build a consistent Pilates routine.
What is the PersonalHour AI Coach?
The PersonalHour AI Coach is part of our growing Pilates ecosystem. It is designed to help reformer users practice with more confidence, improve consistency, and receive additional guidance beyond purchasing the equipment.
Do PersonalHour reformers include accessories?
Most PersonalHour reformers include essential Pilates accessories such as a sitting box, jumpboard, foot cushion or foot platform accessory, ropes, straps, handles, and springs.

How does PersonalHour ship Pilates reformers?
Most reformers are shipped using LTL freight because of their size and weight. Depending on the destination and shipment requirements, we may use carriers such as Estes, Ward Transport, XPO, ABF Freight, or other qualified freight carriers.

The carrier may contact you by phone to schedule the delivery appointment, so please provide an accurate phone number with your order.
How long does shipping take?
Once an order is ready to ship, it generally leaves our facility within approximately 4–7 business days.

Transit time begins after the carrier picks up the shipment and varies depending on the destination, carrier schedule, weather, holidays, and delivery service selected.

On-demand, custom, backordered, and almost-ready products may require additional preparation time before they are ready to ship.
Will the freight carrier contact me before delivery?
Yes. For most residential LTL freight deliveries, the carrier will call the phone number on the order to arrange a delivery appointment.

Please answer calls and voicemails from unfamiliar numbers after your order ships, as the carrier may be trying to schedule your delivery.
What does standard curbside delivery include?
Standard freight delivery is generally curbside. The carrier delivers the packaged reformer to the accessible curb, driveway, or delivery area approved by the carrier.

Standard curbside delivery does not normally include bringing the reformer inside, carrying it upstairs, removing packaging, placing it in a room, or completing installation.
Do you offer White Glove delivery or installation?
Yes. Standard delivery is curbside, but upgraded delivery or White Glove service may be available as an optional third-party service.

Depending on availability in your area, the service may include inside delivery, room placement, unpacking, debris removal, or installation. Services and pricing vary by location and reformer model.
Do you ship to Hawaii and all U.S. states?
Yes. PersonalHour ships to all 50 U.S. states, including Hawaii.

Freight cost, transit time, carrier availability, and delivery options may vary based on the destination.
Can I pick up my reformer in Ohio?
Local pickup may be available for eligible in-stock orders from our Ohio location.

Pickup must be scheduled in advance. Because reformers are large and heavy, customers should bring an appropriate vehicle and enough people to load and safely transport the equipment.
Do PersonalHour reformers require assembly?
Assembly requirements vary by model. Some reformers arrive mostly assembled and may only require installation of items such as the footbar, risers, ropes, shoulder blocks, or legs.

Larger studio reformers and tower systems may require additional assembly. Please review the product instructions or contact our team for model-specific information.
Do you offer a warranty?
Yes. PersonalHour warrants that new equipment is free from eligible manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship, subject to the applicable warranty terms, exclusions, and coverage periods.

Read the Full Warranty Terms
What is not normally covered by the warranty?
Warranty coverage generally does not include normal wear and tear, cosmetic changes, damage caused by incorrect assembly, misuse, unauthorized modifications, improper storage, lack of maintenance, commercial use of a home-use model, or damage caused during customer transportation.

Please review the complete warranty terms for model-specific coverage and exclusions.
How should I maintain my reformer?
Keep the rails clean and free from dust, hair, and small particles. Regularly inspect the wheels, ropes, straps, springs, pulleys, footbar, bolts, and moving components.

Avoid using harsh cleaners or excessive lubricant. Only use cleaning and maintenance products suitable for your reformer’s wood, metal, upholstery, and rail system.
What should I do if the carriage is not sliding smoothly?
First, clean the rails and inspect them for dust or debris. Next, check that the carriage wheels are centered correctly on the tracks and inspect the wheels for flat spots, damage, or uneven wear.

If the wheels are damaged or flattened, they may need to be replaced. Contact our support team with your order number and a clear video showing the carriage movement.
Do reformer springs need to be replaced?
Springs are wearable components and should be inspected regularly. Replace a spring if it shows visible damage, significant stretching, rust, separation, unusual sounds, or inconsistent resistance.

Stop using any spring that appears damaged until it has been inspected or replaced.
Do you accept HSA/FSA payments?
Yes. Eligible customers may select the available HSA/FSA payment option during checkout for qualifying products.

Eligibility and reimbursement requirements are determined by your plan administrator.
Do you offer payment plans?
Yes. Available payment plans may appear at checkout through Shop Pay or another approved payment provider.

Approval, payment amounts, interest, and financing terms are determined by the payment provider.
Can someone help me choose the right reformer?
Yes. Our reformer consultants can help you compare models based on your height, available space, Pilates experience, preferred exercises, folding needs, studio use, and budget.
